National Theatre at Home with Irvine Barclay Theatre

The Irvine Barclay Theatre is presenting episodes on National Theatre at home. This is a wonderful way to see some of the best of British Theater from the comfort of your own home.  Videos are free to watch and are available on-demand for seven days. Newport Coast is a section of Newport Beach situated in the southern tip of the city, just north of Laguna Beach. Child Resource Center

The Child Resource Center is a member-based lending library for early childhood educators and Irvine families. The lending library provides educational toys, science materials, music, movement activities, literacy resources and much more for ages from birth through school age. They have information on child development, parenting, activity and curriculum books. Explore Bommer Canyon

Bommer Canyon is a great place to visit and explore this summer. Bommer Canyon is part of the old Irvine Ranch Cattle Camp. Some of the original structures are still there. This is also part community park and is a preservation area for many local plants, wildlife and several endangered species. There are several trails available to the public for walking, hiking, mountain biking and horse-back riding. There are also docent led activity trails. Currently, the City of Irvine is renovating the Bommer Canyon Cattle Camp site. Parking is open 7am to 6pm daily and trails are open 7am to sunset daily. Newport Coast is a section in the south end of the Newport Beach just north of Laguna beach.  Newport Coast is a master planned community offering many types of residences from condos to beach front estates. Mother's Day Dessert and Paint Event

Orange County Great Park is having a special Mother’s Day Dessert and Paint Night 2020 gathering, there are three times available. The three options for attending are Saturday, May 9th from 10am to 12 noon, Saturday, May 9th from 2pm to 4pm and Sunday, May 10th from 2pm to 4pm. Celebrate Mother’s Day while creating a beautiful tote bag and enjoying dessert with your mom. A local artist with lead with group with step by step instructions. It's in the Bag - Wine Country Fete

It’s in the Bag – Wine Country Fete is being held on Sunday, April 19th, 2020. This wine country themed fete features a women’s luncheon with an auction. The auction is specific to designer handbags and themed bags. Enjoy food, wine, friends and more! Proceeds from this event will be used to grant wishes of critically ill children in the local community through Make-A-Wish Orange County and the Inland Empire.  The event begins at 11:30am and continues to 2:30pm.  It’s in the Bag is being held at the Fashion Island Hotel located at 690 Newport Center Drive in Newport Beach.
