The University of California, Irvine Campus libraries is celebrating the 400th Anniversary of Shakespeare’s First Folio. This exhibit incorporates four centuries of rare books and artwork. The exhibit covers Shakespeare’s rise in both England and around the globe. Following the presentation will be a discussion with exhibit curator Derek Quezada, Rare Books Librarian at USC and Eric Rasmussen, Regents Teaching Professor and Foundation of English at the University of Nevada. This will be followed by a short performance from MacBeth. After the program, attendees are invited to Langson Library for a reception and exhibit viewing. The event has free admission.
