Aldrich Park is a beautiful outdoor retreat for residents in Irvine. Located on the University of California, Irvine campus, this park and botanical garden made it possible for UCI to become one of 74 campuses nationwide to be honored with the Tree Campus USA designation. Aldrich Park has over 11,000 trees and shrubs, including 33 species of eucalyptus. The park is named after UCI’s first Chancellor, Daniel Aldrich is modeled on Central Park.
