The University of California at Irvine, Beall Center for Art and Technology is hosting “It Passes like a Thought” Art Exhibition through Saturday, May 26th. The exhibition opened in March and is a group art exhibition of interdisciplinary artists, with the focus of birds. The exhibit features seven artists. Victoria Vesna, Susan Silton and Anne Walsh focus on birdsong. Lynn Aldrich and Juan Fontanive focus on the birds’ capacity for flight. And finally Richard Ross focuses on the human need to taxonomize the species as a way of understanding it. This exhibit is free to visit.
