Irvine Barclay Theatre is featuring a performance by Kulaiwi. They will be performing on Friday, January 21st at 8pm. Kulaiwi is Hawaiian for “land of my ancestors” and is made-up of three leading performers from Hawaii. Lehua Kalima, Kawika Kahiapo and Shawn Pimental will perform island favorites and be accompanied by hula dancer Pono Fernandez. Together they have won over 30 Na Hoku Hanonano Awards, the Hawaiian Grammys.
