The Irvine Barclay Theatre is having a very special showing of NTL: The Deep Blue Sea on Wednesday, October 12th. The National Theatre Live is a series of broadcasts in high definition directly from the National Theatre in London. The Deep Blue Sea features Helen McCrory and Tom Burke in this Carrie Cracknell production. Set in West London in 1952, this play follows Hester Collyer as her marriage breakdowns. This is interesting story that begins with Hester’s failed suicide attempt and paints a “portrait of need, loneliness and long-repressed passion.” The Irvine Barclay Theatre is located at 4242 Campus Drive. The show begins at 6:30pm and runs until 9pm. Tickets are $22.
