Fourth of July is coming up; soon, celebrate with the 31st Annual Concert on the Green and Fireworks Festival in Irvine. The events culminate with the Pyro Musical in the Sky Concert and Fireworks Extravaganza. Fireworks begin at 9pm. The Irvine Police Association sponsors this exciting event. Gates open at 3pm. From 3pm to 9pm, there will a large of variety of activities for all family members. There will be a food court, live music from The Derek Bourdeaux Group, kids’ activities with field games, prizes and bounce houses. The Irvine Police Department Color Guard will perform the Presentation of the Colors. The festivities are being held at the Irvine High School Stadium. Tickets will be available for purchase at the event. A second Fourth of July event will be held at the Verizon Amphitheater. The Pacific Symphony will perform swing music from the 1940’s and 1950’s. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy will perform alongside the Symphony. The evening will culminate with fireworks at this location, as well.
