The Beall Center for Art and Technology, at the University of California, Irvine Campus is hosting an exhibit titled Objects of Wonder, through January 23rd, 2016. The exhibit “brings together a wide range of international artists whose work exhibits strange and unusual functions, engaging in conceptual phenomena like time, light, energy, evolution and changes of state.” There will be art pieces displaying the science of thermo-dynamics, asteroid activity, insect behavior, and gravity. The exhibit is curated by David Familiam and guest curator Madeline Schwartzman. The UC Beall Center is located at 712 Arts Plaza in Irvine. This exhibit is open to the public and is free to attend.
