When your home is for sale, you want the exterior of the home to look its best, regardless of the season. Begin with the yard, clean up any fallen leaves or other fall debris. Remove any summer annuals and dead head dried blooms from summer blooming perennials. Add a touch of color with blooming and colorful fall plants, such as kale, mums and pansies. The city of Irvine is hosting Pumpkin Pickin’ and Carvin’ on Friday, October 28th. Enjoy an evening with family and friends carving your own pumpkin masterpieces. Staff will be on hand with helpful patterns and suggestions and to lend a hand. During the pumpkin carving event, there will snacks and hot chocolate served. Please register online prior to the event and order the number of pumpkins your family will need, to ensure there will be plenty of supplies for all attendees. The event will take place in Bommer Canyon and begins at 6pm. This event is designed for children ages 2 and above. Bommer Canyon is located at 11 Bommer Canyon Road in Irvine. The cost is $18 per family, this includes one pumpkin, additional pumpkins are $5 each.
