Turtle Ridge, Irvine
Turtle Ridge is a master planned community located in the Orange County city of Irvine. Turtle Ridge is east of the 73 Freeway and borders the Shady Canyon development. Turtle Ridge is very near the Newport Beach city limits. Turtle Ridge sits on the highest elevation point in Irvine. Set in the San Joaquin Hills, Turtle Ridge is in far west Irvine. Building began in this development in 2002 and was finished in 2004. Turtle Ridge has fourteen distinctive neighborhoods made-up of townhomes, single family homes and custom built estates. There are approximately 1,800 residences in Turtle Ridge. The architectural styles in Turtle Ridge include Tuscan and rustic. There are both guard gated and non-guard gated neighborhoods within Turtle Ridge. The square footage in the Turtle Ridge neighborhoods ranges from 800 square feet to 6,100 square feet. Homes have between one and six bedrooms and one and seven bathrooms. Home prices in this area are between $450,000 and 5.5 million dollars. Among the many resort- style amenities in Turtle Ridge are an Olympic size pool, clubhouse, barbeque area, wading pool and playgrounds with picnic areas. Students in the Turtle Ridge development attend Irvine Unified School District Schools, specifically Vista Verde Elementary School and University High School.
